UPL Adarsh Farm Services AFS (“App”) is an application for the use of the any person requiring agro services from UPL. If you do not agree to the terms of the policy, please do not use or access App. UPL takes your privacy seriously, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of the personal information that you provide to us.

  1. Information we collect and why we collect it:
    We collect information to provide better services to all of our users. We collect different types of information through App in the following ways:
    Information you give us:
  1. Our App requires you to sign up with your credentials. When you do, we may ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number, employee id, etc to store with your account.
  2. All other content that you post/share on any part of the App (this might include photos, videos, and any other content that you upload, post or associate with your account);
  3. Interactions that you have with other users or content on the Service.
  1. Information we get from your use of our services:
    We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them or view and interact with other users and content. This information includes:
  1. Device - We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number). App may associate your device identifiers or phone number with your App account.
  2. Log information - When you use our services or view content provided by App, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:
  1. Location information - When you use App, we may collect and store information about your location by converting your IP address into a rough geo-location or by accessing your mobile device’s GPS coordinates or coarse location if you enable location services of your device or other sensors.
  2. Unique application numbers - Certain services in the App include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to App when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers, such as for automatic updates.
  3. Local storage - We may collect and store data and information (including personal information) locally on your device using various mechanisms.
  1. How we use that information?
    We use the information we collect from our App to
  1. provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones and to protect UPL and our users. We also use this information to optimize your user experience and improve the App.
  2. analyze, evaluate and /or aggregate the information to help us understand your tasks, functions, goals, duties etc and that of other users, to analyze trends and for business purposes of UPL.
  3. list your profile in the App/ UPL directory of users so that other App users can find you. Please note the information you list about yourself in your profile will be viewable to other authorized users.
  4. communicate with you regarding your use of the App, and to advise you of changes to the App;
  5. use your email address or other contact information to send you instructions, tasks, articles, news, updates, newsletters, marketing materials, or any other information related to the App and/ or business of UPL. You can opt out from receiving certain notifications by following the instructions in each email or communication from app to “unsubscribe.”
  6. for any other purposes that we specifically communicate to you when we collect that information.
  1. What information do we share:
    We will never sell your data or share it publicly. We may share the information received from you for the following:
  1. Internal processing - We may share personal information to other employees of UPL for processing and analyses in relation to the business of UPL.
  2. External processing - We provide personal information to our consultants/ business partners to process it for us, based on our instructions and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  3. For legal reasons - We will share personal information with companies, organisations or individuals outside of UPL if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

    Links to third-party advertisements, third-party websites/applications or any third party electronic communication service may be provided on the App which are operated by third parties and are not controlled by, or affiliated to, or associated with, UPL unless expressly specified on the App.
    UPL is not responsible for any form of transmission, whatsoever, received by you from any third party website. Accordingly, UPL does not make any representations concerning the privacy practices or policies of such third parties or terms of use of such third party websites, nor does UPL control or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of the information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, videos, messages or other materials available on such third party websites. The inclusion or exclusion does not imply any endorsement by UPL of the third party websites, the website's provider, or the information on the website. The information provided by you to such third party websites shall be governed in accordance with the privacy policies of such third party websites and it is recommended that you review the privacy policy of such third party websites prior to using such websites.
  2. Phishing:
    Phishing is the name given to attempts to steal personal details and account details from a website/application user. "Phishers" use fake or "spoof" emails to lead users to counterfeit websites where the user is tricked into entering their personal details, such as credit card numbers, user names and passwords. If you receive such an e-mail or are asked for your password by anyone claiming to work for UPL please forward the e-mail or report the incident by e-mail to privacy@uniphos.com
  3. Changes to our Privacy Policy:
    We may modify our Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will notify you by making the revised version available on this webpage, and will indicate at the top the date of the latest revision. You should check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis, since revised versions will be binding on you. Any such modifications will be effective when we post the updated Privacy Policy. You understand and agree that your continued access to our App after any posted modification to the Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of those modifications.
